Here's a story from The Jakarta Post about a man who went on vacation for 2 weeks while leaving his nine dogs behind without any water or food. Upon the Indonesian man's return they tore him apart and ate him, turning a tragic animal abuse story into a 'karma's a bitch story'.

Is this true? The dog is a man's best friend. It will defend him with his life. Unfortunately, these pet owners from Jakarta don't know that. Back in Long Island, pets are brought to a dog grooming shop not only for the health of the dog, but also of their owners.
